Meet Our Committee

Chairperson's Welcome

Ciarán Cundelan

A chairde,

Mar Chathaoirleach, ba mhaith liom fáilte a chur romhat chuig ár gclub, Clann na hOman, agus chuig ár suíomh gréasáin.

As Chairperson, it's a great pleasure to welcome you to our website. Clann na hOman is a multinational GAA club, proud of its Irish heritage, which aims to provide a supportive hub for expatriates and Omanis to enjoy Gaelic Games and make lifelong friends.

Our name derives from the term 'Oman Family' in the Irish language. Since its formation, our aim has always been to create a club based around this ethos. We are built by our members, for our members.

As one of the smallest clubs in the Middle East GAA region, we place a strong emphasis on community through our activities and initiatives, both on and off the pitch. Every member is valued and we encourage their involvement to continue to make Clann na hOman a better place for all.

We are proud of the wide range of nationalities who form part of both Clann na hOman and our juvenile setup, Clann Óige, many of whom join us having never played Gaelic Games before. New members are always welcome!

Furthermore, we are grateful to our sponsors and partners for their ongoing support of both our adult and juvenile teams, not to mention our regular social outings.

In my role as Chairperson, I look forward to working alongside our committee and in inviting you to become part of our Clann.

Ar aghaidh linn le chéile.

Le gach dea ghuí,

Ciarán Cundelan
